There is a golf travel case that has been designed to do it all, called the hybrid golf travel case.

We’ve talked about hard and soft golf travel cases, and the differences between the two types of case. However there is also a golf travel case called a hybrid golf travel case that tries to be a compromise between the two.

A hybrid golf travel case is a case that combines both the characteristics of a hard case and those of a soft case.

For example a hybrid golf travel bag should offer a hard top that covers the heads of your clubs with good protection, and a softer body. The head slides over the body to cover the top, and the softer body protects the shafts of your clubs.

The intention is that a hybrid golf bag can offer some of the benefits of the soft travel bag, namely the ability to break it down into a smaller size so that it can be stored more easily.

We still feel that for real protection on aircraft it is wise to invest in a complete hard travel case. That is still the only solution to total protection for your clubs. This is evidenced by the fact that a good hard travel case should come with a lifetime warranty (as it should be unbreakable) and will in some cases also offer it’s own insurance for any club damage on an aircraft. That is testament to how well these hard cases should protect your clubs.

You don’t get either of these with a hybrid golf travel case, and we don’t consider that it offers adequate protection.

And there are even hybrid golf travel cases that are designed to allow you to turn the travel case into a golf buggy. Of course with a regular hard travel case you can’t make the travel case into a golf buggy, so when you arrive you have to rent one. But if your travel bag turns into a golf buggy as well then you overcome this problem.

However hybrid golf travel cases, though a good idea in some circumstances, don’t offer the protection of a good hard golf travel bag.

And travelling isn’t cheap, so if you’re travelling on a budget why not consider staying in hostels? On top of that you probably need to learn more about how to take travel photos.

How exactly do you pack those golf clubs in your golf travel case?

You’ve bought your golf travel case and you’re ready to go on your first golfing holiday. You’ve got your golf clubs and bag all ready to go, along with other things you need to take.

Packing time comes. How to pack those golf clubs in your golf travel bag?

First question. Do you put your golf bag into the travel bag? Well we’ve been asked that several times so we’ve got to answer that first.

Yes your golf travel bag should take your golf bag as well as your golf clubs. If it doesn’t then you’ve bought the wrong one. Plenty of people have just put their golf clubs loose into their travel case.

If you put them in loose then they rattle around and defeat the purpose of the travel bag. They are liable to damage. They need to be packed in nice and tight so they don’t rattle and bang into each oher.

And of course when you arrive you don’t want to find that you have your clubs but you don’t have a golf bag to head out onto the course with.

So leave your clubs in your golf bag and pack your golf bag into your golf travel case.

Now we do recommend doing more to protect your clubs. You could wrap each club head in a piece of cloth like a tea towel to protect it more, and maybe wrap some tape around the cloth to keep it in place. And we would put some cloth around the handles to pack them all together firmly and tape them up too for the same reason, if your golf bag allows for this. And do anything else to keep your clubs from moving and banging around, you’d be surprised how much punishment a travel case can get in baggage handling.

If you’ve got some spare room pack some of your clothes in too, to take up the spare space and to keep down the amount of bags that you need to take.

Oh, remember to zip up all those pockets on your golf bag too before you put it in the travel case.

A golf travel case is a great idea to protect your clubs, but you need to put some thought into packing it.

And if you’re going away don’t forget to do your vacation planning

Welcome to Hot Golf Travel Cases. All about great deals on golf travel cases.

If you’re a golf fanatic you know what it’s like when you travel. You’ve got to take your clubs with you.

There’s always a new course to play, and if you’ve found a hot new golf course to play and you don’t have your golf clubs with you, then ……. You certainly wouldn’t want to rent some would you?

And golf holidays are big business now, for good reason. A golf holiday is a wonderful holiday for a golfer, but how do you transport your clubs?

It’s a bit of a problem travelling with your golf clubs isn’t it? Easy to find a club broken or damaged, or your golf bag damaged, or all your balls gone, or even your clubs – gone. There’s all sorts of horror stories about the problems people encounter when travelling with some high quality golf clubs.

You need a good golf travel case. Golf travel cases protect your investment in your golf clubs. A good golf travel bag will protect your clubs at a very reasonable price, probably less than it would cost you to replace a single golf club, or even your golf bag.

And to bring you hot deals on the best prices for good quality golf travel cases.

There are also collapsible golf travel bags. Are they any good?

We have already mentioned one of the problems with hard golf travel bags. They are a great travel bag, but they are a …….. to store when you get home. Too big and too hard, they can’t be folded up and they seem to get in the way of everything.

Is there a compromise? A travel bag that protects your golf clubs as well as a hard case but doesn’t have the problem with storing the case?

There has been a solution to this problem which has been manufactured in the past called the Golf Telebag, a telescoping golf travel bag that is designed to allow it to collapse down from it’s full size to around half it’s length for storage.

We would love to learn more about the Golf Telebag but unfortunately we cannot access their website. This is either because it’s no longer available, or for some other techy internet reason.

If someone knows what is happening with the golf telebag we’d be interested to know, however to date we can’t tell you much more about it because their website is inaccessible.

Shame as it would be worth considering as a golf travel case. It probably has it’s problems as most compromises do, but it would certainly be worth a look.
